A woman whose body was discovered Tuesday is the victim of a homicide, Gatineau police say.
The case was described at first as a suspicious death, but police made Thursday’s announcement after getting results from an autopsy.
The woman was discovered in a home at 222 Napoléon-Groulx St., a two-storey home just off Maloney Boulevard.
So far, police are not releasing the woman’s name or giving any information about the circumstances of her death. She was about 50 years old.
