Franktown Road remained closed Friday morning after a man in his 20s was killed in a rollover crash that downed live power wires.
A second man in his 20s was unhurt in the crash.
Police alerted firefighters to a car in the ditch in front of 8472 Franktown Rd., near Dwyer Hill Road at 1:41 a.m.
Paramedics from both Ottawa and Lanark services responded and reported that a patient remained in the vehicle, which was resting on its side with wires across it.
A hydro crew arrived to secure the lines so first responders could stabilize the vehicle and tend to the injured man.
