Upper Ottawa Valley OPP report that they’re investigating the theft of cash from a victim who inadvertently left their bank card in a Pembroke ATM.
It happened just before 11 a.m. on Jan.22 when the man who went to the ATM next continued the transaction and withdrew a “significant” sum from the victims’ account, police allege.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a receding hairline, brown hair and a short, brown beard. He wore a black winter jacket with white trim.
OPP is investigating after money was stolen from a victim’s account through an ATM in Pembroke.
Police are asking the public to help them identify the man. Anyone with information is asked to call 613-732-3332 or contact Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at www.valleytips.ca.
