The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a collision in Petawawa that took place between a snowmobile and a car late on Friday evening.
According to police, the crash occurred around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Murphy Road and the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Trail A.
The snowmobile’s driver, a 24-year-old male from Petawawa, was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
