A 75-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police seized an estimated $230,000 in street drugs in North Stormont Township.
On Monday, the OPP conducted a search warrant on a property on County Road 15, about 60 km southeast of Ottawa. Police said they found 34 pounds of marijuana, 30 pounds of hash, 50 pounds of cannabis shake, methamphetamine pills and a gun.
Gerard Sauve has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a weapon, violating probation orders with possession of a weapon, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
Sauve has been released and is set to appear in a Cornwall court on April 17.
