A home on chemin Spruce, near the Edelweiss ski facility in La Pêche, Que., was destroyed by fire on Monday night, La Pêche Fire Service said in a news release.
Residents of the home called for help around 9:30 p.m. and several fire trucks and police were dispatched.
A neighbouring home was evacuated as a precaution as firefighters tackled the blaze.
Damage was estimated at $200,000 and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
There were no injuries.
