A construction worker was rushed to the local trauma centre in critical condition Wednesday morning after falling two stories from a house under construction in Barrhaven.
The man in his 30s had serious head injuries.
Paramedics report they were called to a construction site in the area of Cambrian Road and Greenbank Road at 7:47 a.m.
They called on firefighters to help remove the patient from the construction scene. Ottawa police said that they were assisting at the scene on Logperch Circle and the province’s Ministry of Labour would investigate.
