Man with autism missing from Cornwall-area 401 rest stop

Police are asking the public to help them find a Scarborough man with autism who went missing from a rest stop on the westbound Highway 401 at Bainsville.

Duane Montague, a 311-year-old police describe as non-verbal, was missing from the Enroute in South Glengarry Township about 35 km east of Cornwall at about 8 a.m.

Montague is described as black, five feet six inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket, white hat and white running shoes.

He is said to respond to the name “Omar.”

Anyone who’s seen him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call SD&G OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
