A 17-year-old girl was in critical condition with a head injury following a T-bone collision at the intersection of Kinburn Side Road and John Shaw Road on Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa paramedics treated three patients for traumatic injuries. A 51-year-old man was in serious condition with chest injuries while a 21-year-old man had a serious head injury.
A call about the two-vehicle crash was received at 3:02, and three Ottawa paramedic units, along with one from Renfrew County, worked in co-ordination with the Ottawa Fire Services to extricate the three patients, who were trapped in the vehicles.
An air ambulance was used for transport to the trauma centre.
The Ottawa police were investigating the collision, but no details were immediately available.
