Ottawa police are looking for a man with bad teeth and a beer belly who’s suspected of trying to sexually assault a woman in Little Italy early Saturday.
According to police, the 22-year-old woman was waiting for an OC Transpo bus at Preston Street and Young Street around 12:45 a.m. when a man grabbed her from behind, dragged her into the nearby bushes and tried to sexually assault her.
Police said two passersby intervened and the man fled on foot west on Young.
Police described the man as white with a tanned complexion, 30-35 years old, about 5-foot-10, with an average build and a beer belly. The man has indents on both temples. Both his eyes and teeth are “slanted and crooked,” police said. The man was wearing a black fitted ball cap with a red design and red under the brim, a black T-shirt with a red design on the front, black shorts and black shoes.
