A long stretch of Highway 7 was closed Wednesday morning as the OPP tackled what they report was a “serious” two-vehicle crash involving a jack-knifed tractor-trailer west of Perth.

An air ambulance had been dispatched for at least one injured person, Lanark OPP reported.

The highway was closed between Gambles Side Road and Cameron Side Road after the 7:37 a.m. crash in Tay Valley Township.

Traffic was expected to be detoured along Christie Lake Road.
