Fire crews extricate victim from flipped vehicle in Hunt Club crash

A two-vehicle crash on Hunt Club Road early Tuesday afternoon left one person trapped in a vehicle that landed on its side.

Fire crews were able to free the person from the the wreckage of the crash near the intersection of Paul Benoit Driveway at about 1:30 p.m.

There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries.

Police said the “serious” collision closed westbound Hunt Club starting at Paul Anka Drive and warned commuters to avoid the area.
