March Road expansion lands: Applications for two of four planned subdivisions along March Road north of Old Second Line/Halton Terrace and Maxwell Bridge have been received by city staff. Minto is proposing the development of 455 single-detached homes, 401 townhomes, two parks, a school block, and a woodlot to the east of March Road and north of the existing Brookside community. Claridge-Uniform has submitted plans for the development of 295 single detached dwellings, 530 townhouse and multi-unit residential dwellings, institutional facilities including a school block and a fire hall, a future park and ride, a large neighbourhood park, and open space. The land is located on the west of March Road, and south and west of St Isidore Roman Catholic church and school and existing residential homes along Murphy Court.
