Description:
We are an independent pharmacy in Brandon, MB, looking for a pharmacy aide to work full time on our team. Our store is continually growing, and we are looking for an employee who is interested in working with the Medicine Shoppe long term. We pride ourselves on providing personalized healthcare to a wide range of patients and this position is an important part of our team.
Job Requirements/qualifications:

• Language Level CLB Level 5 or IELTS 5/4/5/5
• Completion of High School or other graduate degree
• Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant course is an asset
• Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical or related medical experience or training
• Must be able to deliver superior customer service.
• Must be able to take direction from other staff members
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with some supervision.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and effectively communicate with team members and customers
• Computer knowledge in networking and programming is an asset

• None required

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with packaging and labelling of pharmaceutical products
• Product order receiving and inventory
• Assist in maintenance of prescription records
• Cashier duties
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• May assist technicians with providing clients with compression socks
• May assist technicians with non-sterile compounding
• Administrative duties as assigned.
