City to hold virtual technical briefing on Solid Waste Master Plan

Councillor Scott Moffatt, Chair of the Standing Committee on Environmental Protection, Water and Waste Management, will hold a technical briefing on Thursday, April 30 about the first phase of the Solid Waste Master Plan.

Staff will provide an overview of waste management in Ottawa, the mechanisms available to the City to influence waste diversion and reduction, emerging trends in waste management and the public engagement approach for the master plan.
