A fresh lineup of tunes by 25 local musicians make up the latest edition of the City’s Music on Hold initiative, part of #ottmusic. Anyone waiting on hold when calling the City will hear a new playlist featuring local music.
Between Monday, February 24 and Friday, April 3, close to 100 musicians of all genres submitted music samples for consideration. A committee of Ottawa musicians and industry professionals reviewed the submissions and selected 25 songs for the City phone system.

Since Music on Hold began in 2015, the City has received more than 600 submissions and showcased 125 local musicians.
