Final agenda of November 4 Council meeting updated

The final agenda for the Special Council meeting of Wednesday, November 4 will include an additional Committee Report for Council’s consideration that was not listed on the draft agenda when it was published on Friday, October 30:

• Transportation Committee Report 12 (Items 9 and 10 on the Agenda): This report includes two time-sensitive items approved by the Transportation Committee meeting on Monday, November 2. The first item recommends measures to help the restaurant and retail sectors, including funding for a grant program for small capital improvements. The second item recommends adding 11 additional school crossing guard locations for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

The Final Agenda also includes Notices of Intent Pursuant to Subsection 29(6) of the Procedure By-law from the Auditor General and the Integrity Commissioner. The Auditor General has provided notice of intent to table his annual report at the Audit Committee meeting called for Tuesday, November 24. Similarly, the Integrity Commissioner has provided notice of intent to table a report with respect to the conduct of Councillor Chiarelli at the Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 25.
