Please join us to celebrate the operational launch of the Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel with the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities for the Government of Canada, the Honourable Lisa MacLeod, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, MPP Nepean, on behalf of the Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario’s Minister of Infrastructure for the Government of Ontario, and Mayor Jim Watson.

Place: CSST Site 1 Odour Control Facility - LeBreton Flats (map)
On-street parking is available along Lett Street, Lloyd Street and Fleet Street, within a short walk to the event location.

To attend in person: This event is for registered media only. To register please contact medias@ottawa.ca. Please note that media spaces may be limited due to restrictions to crowd sizes. Media Relations will confirm registration with media outlets.
A reminder: wearing a mask helps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks are mandatory in indoor settings. Although this event is taking place outdoors, wearing a mask is always advisable in social gatherings.
It is recommended you avoid common greetings, such as handshakes. If it is not possible to maintain physical distance of at least two metres, masks are required.
Anyone attending this event must not present any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has received a positive diagnosis within the last 14 days. If you are feeling ill, please refrain from attending.
