The buzzword transitory seems embedded in my daily life.

Both my girlfriend and I have been WFH since March 2020. Reviewing the life and work I have been through since WFH, I am pretty proud of my achievements and work ethic. I completed a few WFH projects at home that I panned a long time ago but never put my finger out. I built up a new deck and a self-made shelter for the storage of garden tools in my backyard. I did an interlock in the front entrance of my house. The garden has never been looking so beautiful and thumbed up by our neighbors. For my personal well-being, I got a nice tan when working on my WFH projects, and I have gained more muscle and felt more energetic and strong day and night. Thanks for WFH.

Conversely, my girlfriend's WFH is not a good-looking picture, at least in my view or maybe some CFCers' views. My girlfriend felt good herself and said her working life has never been better. My view on her WFH is that I don't mind she glues on the screen to watch Netflix or trolling on CFC on community or international affairs every day. As long as she brought her paycheck in our bank account to pay the mortgage in time, I should have no problem with her WFH. For her WFH paycheck, so far so good and it will be good. However, her weight increases bother me sometimes because she has increased near 16LB since WFH.

I have warned her so many times to watch her weight. Her response has been always very simple: " Ah, It is transitory, my weight increase is transitory as a result of WFH. When WFH finishes, my weight increase will finish". Oh, my God, she parrots J Powell and Macklem's buzzword pretty quick.

Do you believe the weight increase will be transitory? and the prices of goods and services increase is transitory like my girlfriend's weight increase?

My girlfriend's weight probably won't increase anymore as she expected when we all go back to the office. But I think the fats and meats already increased on her tummy will stay.

The same could happen to transitory inflation.

Anyway, I am planning my next WFH project while my girlfriend keeps doing her WFH project. CFC will never be short of trolling during WFH. The only thing different I have to do is switch off the night light in our bedroom when my girlfriend and I go to bed.

但是， 所有的人只要睁着眼睛都知道， 转折点在川普时期就到了。

现实情况是日本韩国撤出一系列工厂， 美国正在千方百计地往外撤， 唯一含糊不清的就是那些欧洲企业。实际上中国一直在和欧洲维持贸易平衡以最大化的出口美国， 既然美国不愿意做傻子， 加拿大的保守党迟早会掌权， 这种形势必然会慢慢逆转。中国没有了那么多美元外汇， 自然也就没有底气买那么多欧洲产品。所以中欧之间的矛盾会在美加把自己供应链调整稳定之后自然爆发， 好戏还在后面。

唯一不用担心的是北美的就业率， 供应链要回来么， 5G要建设阿， 缺的是工人和技术人员管理人员， 假和平说的这点不错， 平均价格涨上去就不会回来了，不过消费力会增加的。

香港和九龙是割让，新界是租借。 全部收回是谈判的结果。

西方国家到中国去直接买制造产品当然没有问题， 但是有关键技术的生产线和相关供应链应该留在本国国内， 在什么是关键技术上应该重新定义。 也就是说， 外贸可以， 投资就需格外谨慎， 因为这不仅涉及到投入的美金不能及时汇回本国， 生产线撤离的工人生存费用直接留给了本国， 再加上在中国技术被盗，或者软技术know-how被盗， 最终外资的投资不仅寄不出来， 而且连投资的老本最后也发工资发掉。所以在核算成本上不仅仅要加上一般的财务成本， 还要加上绿色成本， 员工流失政府社会成本， 和非市场经济的不可确定性成本， 而这些不可控费用和成本， 正在越来越多的显现出来。

在过去的四十年中， 在中国投资的外国公司总体能赚钱得不多， 但是倒闭得更多， 比如说柯达，比如说北电; 或者说投资进去也是输光了出来， 比如说加拿大得几大银行， 比如说加拿大得著名公司 canadian tire， 等等等等， 不胜枚举。 唯一能得到利益得是上市公司得股票和高管， 然而因为外汇汇不出来， 最终这仍然是水中花， 镜中月。

这一次， 习大大对网络公司和外资公司得民族主义宣传就是对海外过去四十年投资的大收割。
