Wired transfer is the fastest way, only 2 business days to most banks in China. There is a base fee, about $40, then a percentage of the amount being tranferred. In my own case, I paid $50 on $20,000 wired transfer at Bank of Montreal.

You'll need:
-bank routing number (branch number plus bank number)
-account number
-name of the receiving bank
-address of the receiving bank
-home address of the recipient
-telephone number of the recipient

Normally you should go to your own bank to wire transfer, however if you choose to go to other banks, make sure to carry either a certified cheque or a band draft, so that the fund can be cleared right away.

you may use the WESTERN UNION, this is the fastest way i have ever heard, 15 seconds to complete. only thing you need is ask the sender to go to a bank such as Bank of China, and ask for Western Union money transfer. limit in 5000 USD per sender. you can pick the money up in any of the agents.
