这是种族歧视吗？Costco 员工在一大堆人中就检查我一个人的ID

还是太敏感了。
我都比较宽容，即使他有stereotype，我都觉得有stereotype形成的原因，我不会take it personal。比如这一次检查，他的stereotype（如果有）就会得到一定的矫正，挺好的事。

racial profile/stereotype 应该是每个人站出来纠正，虽然大多情况不会有伤害，但是会有部分有种族歧视的人，特别是执法机关，比喻警察用来对少数族裔带来伤害

两方面看法都有道理。我的观点是要有礼、还要有理，一味退让会加剧别人认为亚裔很weak的印象。
都想好了，下次再碰上这样的事情，我会留下来观察一下他们是不是有bias, 然后再找经理论理。

Racial profiling 有点牵强。。。。

Racial profiling是指警察在大马路是无缘无故的查ID。。。。这里区别很大，没必要上刚上线。

这和查公交月票差不多。

下次要是查到我，就给他们卡后面的照片，这是最好的photo ID。没别的ID。如果Costco需要别的photo ID验明正身，为什么把member的照片存档？

而是说如果有racial profile/stereotype，或者感觉自己被racial profile/stereotype， 就应该站出来，跟楼主的经历无关
