Ottawa – The Mayor’s 20th Annual Christmas Celebration, scheduled for tomorrow, will be postponed to Saturday, December 10, due to forecasted high winds. Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for winds gusting up to 70 and 80 km/h – which can pose safety risks for all visitors and participants.
The new date for the Mayor’s Christmas Celebration is:
Date: Saturday, December 10
Time: 2 to 5 pm
Location: Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
Admission: donation to the Ottawa Food Bank
The Mayor’s Annual Christmas Celebration is made possible by the generosity of the many corporate sponsors.
In the spirit of giving and to help those in need, admission to this sponsored event is a non-perishable food donation to the Ottawa Food Bank.
This is not a nut-free event. Dress for the weather as most activities will take place outside.
