JK said it! It's not duty, it's their so called brokerage fee, a.k.a. their fee for declaring and filling out custom forms for you. Be prepared for the worst, but fight anyway!

In this case, UPS should have let me know their charge besides the shipping cost beforehand. Now it seems to me more like a trap than anything else!!!

When you ship sth from US to Canada, the first choice is USPS air(not USPS EMS), the second one is FebEx.

The UPS sucks,and you can know that if you search on group discussions in Google. :smokin:

Recently i bought a laptop from ebay and asked seller to ship it to me via USPS air parcel. I was only charged $5 for duty by Canadianpost when it was delivered in front of my door. So happy
