A number of spots popular with locals and tourists alike are currently closed for safety reasons. They include:

• Griffith Park, including Lake Hollywood
• Runyon Canyon Park
• Los Angeles Zoo
• Hollywood Reservoir
• Hollywood Sign
• Roads through the Sepulveda Basin in the San Fernando Valley

“Nobody should be going those places today … not only if you’re on the west side or in the Valley, anywhere in this city, if you can stay off the roads, please do so,” LA City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson said, encouraging drivers to leave roads open for public safety workers.
