The party has released a statement on the result — confirming the final tally was 87.4 per cent in support of Poilievre's leadership.
They say a Big Four accounting firm was retained to count the ballots cast.
"In an overwhelming majority, Conservative delegates voted at the national convention to forgo a leadership review and in support of Pierre Poilievre as their party’s Leader," the short statement reads.

A party spokesperson tells me 2,558 ballots were cast in this leadership review election. That's a 95 per cent turnout.
We just spoke to Sebastian Skamski, Poilievre's former spokesperson, for some initial reaction. He's even more definitive than Outhouse that this sort of result will quiet the naysayers and put to bed the idea of any more MPs defecting to the Liberals.
"I think it's a very clear message that the party is united behind him," Skamski said.
Of course, I've also heard from some disaffected Conservatives that a result this strong could also make some Poilievre-sceptic MPs look around and wonder whether they still have a home in this party if the leader has such a strong endorsement from members.
