I have some friends that graduated from Civil Eng. of U'Waterloo and got pretty good offers from architect firms in Toronto. According to them, it should be no worse than the IT field nowadays. Does it help?

Hope I am as lucky as your friend.But to be fair, Engineering of UO is not as good as that of U Waterloo.

Hope I am as lucky as your friend.But to be fair, Engineering of UO is not as good as that of U Waterloo.

那又不是waterloo的强项

所以从侧面反应两家差不多

I'm a graduate student for civil engineering in Carleton. Let me tell you the truth,civil engineering consists of structural ,trafic and enviornment submajors.And it is not suitale for girls, courses are hard.Architecture is not included in civil engineeing here in Canada.

还好～～课程差不多都take完了，正在写论文～～
这个专业不见得不适合女生，男多女少的专业，招聘时总要balance一下性别吧～～至少我们实验室的同学都这么告诉我的～～ :glowface:
