Seminar is basically a kind of discussion-like form of in-class education. There may not be a formal class-book. Rather, there could be several reference books and many other materials (articles from journals) to read. Normally the students must actively participate in the course - either individually or as small teams. You need to read these materials, select a topic of interest, prepare and presentation your views/theories on that topic. It is really helpful in imrpoving your comprehensive skill - reading, understanding and communicating.

咦，有意思啊，你要学ISS吗？那课虽然难，但听说分数还可以。

那教授叫李慰萱。二十年前，他在中国图论界已是赫赫有名。
我们当年都用他的书作教材。他的讲课比CU的任何一个教授
都要好。一别多年，仍能听到他的消息，真高兴。

Prof Li WeiXuan is a very nice teacher. I took one of his courses in OU, pretty good. I heard he is going to retire after few years.

I also took Prof. Li's course in OU last year, he is quite famous in C++ in OU, many local students also know him. He is very kind.

小小 TIP：上老李的课，在考试前问老李借些参考书，要中文的。
考题有不少会在这些书中。

我比窦娥她姐还冤啊我，我花的都是自己的血汗钱呐。不过读书实在是没动力，好象形式主义一样，我打算drop了不读了。另外，我是野兔，不是家兔，我不喜欢家兔傻了叭唧还装乖的样子。

I was majored in computer science during under-graduated study in China. I already leaned most part of this course during under-graduated study. For an ISS student, who was not majored in computer science during under-graduated study , the course is little bit tough. But Prof. Li is very good. I never heard anybody failed in this course. I took his course three years ago.
