[问题] What Chinese input software should I use to enable Chinese character input?

Hi Good evening,

Can anybody tell me what software I could download into my computer (English Wondows OS) to allow me to enter Chinese characters?

I tried NJ Star but the trial version expires in 30 days. Is there any free Chinese software for download? Please provide the website if you can. Thanks very much for your kind help ahead of time!
