Tomorrow evening, there will be a lunar eclipse.... the last Lunar eclipse we'll see until 2007.
Weather permitting, the astronomy group is holding a public event in a park to share the eclipse with the public. There is no charge for this event... (aside from driving to the park) and all are welcome.
There will be many telescopes, binoculars, and knowledgeable amateur astronomers on hand to answer questions and share this event.
For more details, please see: http://www.oaog.ca/OAOG-MA20041025_e.pdf
And for directions to Beckwith Park: http://www.oaog.ca/ObservingSites/Observingsites.htm#anchor5131454
Bundle up in extra layers (more than you think you'll need) if you're going... you can always take off layers if you're too warm.
