I frequent 3 Japanese restaurants in Ottawa:

Wasabi @ Clarence in Byward Market
Ichibei @ Bank/Gloucester and Nepean
Suisha Garden @ Slater/Bank

Kinki's the worst fusion restaurant I've ever been to, the rice in maki sushi was even half cooked.

I like Ichibei.

Susha Garden is good. Ichibei is not bad too. It also depends on what you order.

For tempura and nigiri sushi, I like Ichibei the best; for maki sushi and sashimi, I'd prefer Wasabi. Suisha Garden is my lunch place, their o-bento lunch special is the best.

经常去WASABI，一直都不错。KINKI味道很好。唯一的问题是太忙，忙得时候会赶客
的。但服务，味道整体都还好。

SUSHI KANATA 也不错,在KANATA CENTRUM.

Wasabi - too much MSG and food is over-priced.

Kinki - fusion food for Canadian - not for authentic Japanese fans

Susha Garden - used to be good. Now, expensive but okay

Genji - a new restaurnat. The decor is vry modern and food is authentic. I recommend the dinner set which offers the best value.

Sushi Kanata - sushi is fresh. But price is also expensive. The service is not as good as when they were opened.
