我准备要搬家, 房东来做INSPECTION之后给我签一个INSPECTION REPORT, 说所有要搬出APARTMNET的都要签的?!

他来INSPECT完我的房子, 大概在REPORT上写明他们要做的工作, 就是刷刷墙,油油柜子,再CLEAN CLEAN CARPET之类的东西, 他就让我签那个REPORT, 说所有离开的TENANT都得签的, 只是程序, 我不用担心任何事. 我听他那么说, 就签了.

之后他给我了一份INSPECTION的COPY, 我才注意到上面印着的小字, 前面就是说TENANT必须允许LANDLORD进入我们的单位COMPLETE他们的工作, 但最后一句是说: "TENANT AGREES TO PAY THE ABOVE SUM OF $____ IN SATISFACTION ."

不过文字的上面根本就没有地方写与钱有关系的地方, 只是一个LIST, 写着各个地方的CONDITION, 比如CEILING呀, DOOR呀, 还有STOVE等等.

我签了没关系的吧?! 你们签过吗?

I signed the same report when I moved out from an apartment. The landlord returned the interest of the deposit to me.
If any damage to the apartment, the landlord may deduct some money from your deposit interest.

I cleaned the apartment, and even fixed some minor problems on the wall, and I got back all the interest.

So, make sure you will get that money back.
