Software and Technology Developer- OTTAWA
Chipworks is the premiere source of knowledge of what’s inside technology through creative investigation and analysis. We are currently seeking a creative and results-driven individual to contribute to our research and development team. Reporting to the Manager of R&D, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, validating, and supporting software tools that make up DAW (Design Analysis Workstation), a key component of Chipworks’ state-of-the-art reverse engineering process.
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or computer systems engineering and 4-6 years experience in commercial software development including client ?server, commercial DB applications & transaction processing models. Your object-oriented analysis and design skills are complemented by extensive C++, UNIX and Windows experience.
Previous experience with image recognition and image processing algorithms, experience in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry, and a general understanding of semiconductor physical design would be assets. LINUX development experience and familiarity with the Qt development framework is also highly desirable.
Your technical skills are complemented by strong oral and written communication skills, an innovative approach to problem solving, excellent organization and planning abilities and an enthusiastic, committed attitude.
