Chipworks is the premiere source of knowledge of what’s inside technology through creative investigation and analysis. We are seeking a Sales Engineer with experience in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Reporting to the Manager, TI Sales and Program Management, you would be responsible for providing technical support to the Technical Intelligence Sales (TI Sales) group for scoping and quoting Technical Intelligence projects, and program managing assigned projects across multiple teams. Your primary responsibilities would include:
・ Understand client’s technical requirements and communicate these requirements to Engineering in order to properly scope and quote projects.
・ Discuss and ensure full understanding of client expectations with engineering manager(s) to provide accurate and realistic quotes.
・ Initiate project kick-off meetings with Project Leader(s) to confirm and receive commitment of resources for project deliverables.
・ Monitor project execution and manage information to and from the customer, regularly communicating project progress status to client and TI Sales and Business Developer
・ Provide an accurate billing forecast of managed projects.
The successful candidate has excellent written and oral communication skills with 5 years demonstrated experience in conducting research and reporting findings within the semiconductor industry.
You have a Bachelors’ degree in an appropriate science specialty or engineering discipline or combination of related work experience and education
