[问题] 110伏转220伏的变压器

提醒大家注意:
加拿大住宅用电不是三相电,烘干机,炉具等大功率设备,使用的是两组120V电源,两组串联使用是240V。一般来说,从国内带来的发热式电器可以正常使用,只是功率会大一些。

可惜,他家倒转的只有110到220的。这样就是用在120上,出来也是240,和直接接L1, L2一样了。:( 不过叫有执照的拉一根240的出来的费用,可以买1 - 2个豆浆机了。

话说得有点汗糊没底气,说明这个500瓦还有水分的,考虑开关电源瞬间的电冲击,这玩艺只能支持 500/3 或 500/4瓦的负载
 
北美入户大部分是split phase结构,两个相差180度的120Vac, 零线(Neutral)是变压器的中心抽头,见附图:

For safety, it's recommended by the manufacturer that the voltage transformer's maximum power should be equal or greater than the power rating of your appliance multiplied by 1.5. For example, if you have an appliance rated at 100 watts, you will need to pick a transformer with a maximum power of 150 watts or greater.

没说错呀。同相不就0V了。三相各相差120度,我们这个”两相“差180度。
I guess the term "相" (phase) is too technical or it is translated differently outside of mainland. An electrician may know how to do it and doesn't need to know why.
 
线圈不是理想的超导体,除了电感量之外,本身有直流阻抗,过电流要生热。原来初级线圈输入电压110V,反过来插工作电压220V, 电流的直流分量I(dc)=U/R,U为线圈端电压,R为线圈直流电阻,U为原来2倍,直流电流I(dc)也高一倍,发热功率P=I^2R是原先4倍,线圈就烧了。老电工不知道这个?:evil:

110V一个插座标配是15A,算你用12guage的线,一公里才5ohm.. 变压器的热量不是来自于线圈,主要是来自于磁场induction吧o_O

再不济你不会弄个盆,倒满菜籽油,放进去?:evil::evil::evil::evil::evil:

概念错误吧,热量来自电流通过 resistance,不是来自 inductive reactance。现实世界的线圈,不可能是纯感抗的,必有电阻,这是发热的原因,如果用超导材料,就不会发热了,但目前还不存在常温超导。
