is it legal to install a radar speed gun detector on the car in Canada

does anybody REALLY know, whether it is legal to install a radar speed gun detector in the car. Since it's legal to sell in US. (ex. in Costco you can buy it for 85 US$)

It is illegal to operate one in Ontario.
Possession of one is legal provided that it's in its packaging.

the radar detector is not legal in all the states in the US.

至少在德州是合法的。radar detector 被用于 detour/construction 地段。
