Our relative in China sent us 2 boxes of dried sea cucumbers (Hai Sen) and they got detained by the Canadian Custom...
The reason, as described in a letter, is due to the sea cucumber is in Category "C" - something related to Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora...
It looks like we can request revision of the identification or apply for a special permit from Environment Canada...
Does anyone out there have a similar experience before? Any information would be highly appreciated!
