Chemical safety engineer
Job Description:
We (www.spatialsmart.com) currently seek a Chemical safety engineer with a B.S. or Master’s Degree in chemical engineering, or Chemistry, and conversant with relevant Canadian chemical safety regulations.
The successful candidate will design safe operating procedures to be used by experimental staff when working with the identified hazardous chemicals, such as Ammonia (NH3), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Chlorine (Cl2), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Hydroden Cyanide (HCN), Cyanides, and Organophosphorous insecticides, in the yet-to-be-determined experimental facilities.
Strong communication (written, verbal) skills are prerequisite.
