关于团聚移民的事情！！急！急！急！

我是今年1月结婚的，3月递送的移民申请！！我的study permit 到9月30号到期，到目前为止还没收到任何回复！！我的签证就要到期了。。。请问下我应该怎么做！！续签证还是啥的？？？

按照规定，你应该在SP到期前一个月提出续签申请，今天已经8月31日了。。。

as long as CIC receives your SP extension before Sept. 30, you are entitled to stay until they make a desicion on your SP application.

你可以申请OPEN 工作签证, 大概2-4个星期, 我刚刚去申请!

听到很多这样的情况了，都认为在签证有效期内会下来移民，可是后来很多人签证过期也没下来，最后还耽误移民，想办法延续签证吧，别弄巧成拙。

是啊，3月申请的，根据cic的processing time，9月30号前是拿不到AIP和申请open work permit的。所以，赶快续study permit如果你还在学，或者申请vistor visa.

补充一点，如果你黑在这里，移民也下不来，而且以后再申请也会被拒的。

lz没有必要担心，递交了境内团聚以后，不需要其它手续，你可以放心留下来，符合规定的。除非你要读书/工作，申请相应的permit 即可，见：

I didn't read the details show on the above website, but here are what CIC wrote to me ACCORDING TO OUR RECORDS, YOU ARE AUTHORIZED TO REMAIN IN CANADA UNTIL ******. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN YOUR TEMPORARY RESIDENT STATUS IN CANADA, WHILE YOUR APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE IS BEING PROCESSED. REMAINING IN CACADA WITHOUT VALID STATUS IS PROHIBITED BY THEIMMIGRATION AND REFUGEE PROTECTION ACT AND MAY LEAD TO REFUSSAL OF YOUR APPLICATION. SHOULD YOU NEED TO EXTEND YOUR STATUS, PLEASE CONTACT AN IMMIGRATION CALL CENTER AND REQUEST A VISITOR EXTENSION KIT. So I strongly suggest that you should extend you visa before it is expired. Also as soon as you get your new visa, you should mail them a copy right away. A lady from CIC phoned me one day to ask me if I extend my visa and I did sent a copy to them 4 weeks ago, they just didn't open it. Anyway after that call, I got a letter from them one week later informed me that "we are please to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. the Canada Immigration Center in Ottawa will contact you concering your permanent resident status."

Then you need to wait another two months to get a call from CIC Ottawa for the interview. Then you will get a piece paper of CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE.( you don't need to get out of Canada and come back for landing)

Then you need to wait another one month to get your PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARD.

Then you can go to apply for your OHIP and SIN card number.

Then you need to wait another one month to get them. Your OHIP will coverage on after three months from that day you get the piece paper of CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE in CIC Ottawa.

1。不知你是否是团聚移民
2.不知你是否是在2005/2/18以后发的信问的
3。不知你是否是在信中提到你这期间需要工作/学习

看了cic的网站内容以后你就清楚了。这条规定不是针对所有“ APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE”，只有境内夫妻团聚才有。

多谢了！我原来是拿study permit,AIP后申请了work permit,这个新的permit用不用copy一份给cic呢，他们的系统是不是应该有记录呢？
