most of the applicants already had a degree in ART in Canada. Although they maynot list this as a prerequist, it is
normally expected. The same if you want to study in Law.
Don't lose your patience so easily. If you were a doctor in China before, it is probably almost impossible for you to become a clinical doctor again in Canada. It is an understandable thing thogh difficult for some of my Chinese medical colleagues to acknowledge that. We got to admit that language and culture are the 2 most deadly killers for the first generation of Chinese immigrants to live here. If we were taught all these medical courses in English, that would be a different story.
You may have tried to apply for Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Ultrasound etc but got turned down. Please realize that all these health-related professions are very hot even for local applicants. To be frank with you, your TOFEL score is OK but not great. You also need to take some Psychology or Sociology courses to qualify for some of these professional majors -- You must demonstrate your capability through your Canadian GPAs. Moreover, you need to have some volunteering experience in a health-care facility to assist with your application.
Anyway, it's extremely hard for us to go back to clinic again if impossible. However, where there is a will, there is a way!
If you don't want to share your detailed information regarding your study/work experience in China, your application area, and others in this web forum, please feel free to drop me an e-mail through Qiaoqiao Hua. I may be able to provide some further info.
