Are you kidding? who bother to translate? you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Be concise! the original post say more in one paragraph than your whole essay.Man, I think you completely missed thepoints the post is making. The post is poking fun of cfc.
Wow, what seems to be your problem?

About translation, It was "dandinghe" who asked me or someone else to do the translation. Let me requote what he said "能否请楼主或中文打字快的给翻译一下". Why blame me? All I said was "I don't mind anyone translating it into Chinese... " which does not mean that I am looking for or asking someone to do the translation. Please read my post again...:)

About the "original post", if you refer to the comment by "Jetdog", then we seem to have diiferent understanding of it...

I don't know how to type in Chinese, and my written Chinese is not very good either.

Completely nonsense!

Give you a simple sample: In any restaurant, the boss can say to you “I don’t want to serve you, get out!”. If you don’t leave, he will call police.
Thanks for your comment. But I am not sure if you understood my point. I think my comment could not be more clear that it is not about what a business owner can do/say or can not do/say. But after reading it (I assume you read it) you still give us this example (I assume your "sample" means "example") relating to the issue of what a business owner can do or can not do (your example is even weeker than the case of CFC banning the ID). If you compare your imaginary example with my first point which is "First of all I agree that the owner has the right to ban or block any ID he wants......", you will see why I doubt that you understood my comment. Let me respond to your example again. I think the owner can say whatever he wants and to whomever he wants. But whether or not it is appropriate, justified and will have adverse effect/consequence, that will be a different issue.

"Completely nonsense!"? It sounds like you also disagree with some other points of my comment. Would you like to elaborate?

I hope people who visit this site can see more meaningful discussions instead of seeing people spending time, energy and bandwidth on things like "English 101" or "English Reading 101"...:)

典型的托福作文一篇。文不对题,说的 a couple of words, 其实是长篇大论。
Besides the fact that there are many people in this website who have very good English, you seem to be the only who discovered the glaring "mistake". Looks like we have an voluntary English teacher (hope not a clown) here... LOL

But unfortunetely I have another "a couple of words" to say. It seems that you have never read any English articles with tittles like "A couple of words on..." or "A few words on..." or "A couple of words from..." or "A few words from...". You probably never heard at meetings someone saying "I have a couple of words to say..." or "I have a few words to say..." then go on talking about whatever the subject for 5 or 10 minutes. You also do not seem to have any idea or any concept of what "understatement" is.

If you have problem understanding what I am saying, or still think your 'TOEFL English' is superior to anyone else' English in this site, try the following. Take my little comment (don't forget the tittle) with your comment to any English teacher of your pre-college English language program. Then come back and tell us what your English teacher say? I am sure that's going to be interesting and entertaining as well...:)

I think you wiil have a better understanding of what I'm talking about when you grow up. Because at that time you will have more exposure to English, and you will probably find your 'TOEFL English' is not as superior as you thought, and the world you see at that time will probably be a little bigger than what you have been reading from your little TOEFL book...:)

This is one of the things that amazes me from time to time. Why in this site there is so high percentage of Chinese who have already been in English-speaking countries for several years and still have no idea and no concept of what a "big mouth" is?...:)

Oh, man, I just happened to work at several restaurants here during high school and university, and know what a restaurant owner can do and cannot do.

But you didn’t for sure. All your words are from your imagination.

That's not true. I have tried to stay in a restaurant after they had been bad to me and refused to provide the food I order. Plus they want the money in full. I demanded to be served the food and they wanted me out. I tried to stay and the cop asked me to leave or stay at the police station for the night. The owner has the absolute right to ask you to leave. No question about that. You can sue him for other things if you like.
