Hello everyone! Winter will soon be ending!
Here's proof. The next event is a very Canadian event that only happens at the end of winter... or the beginning of Spring!!!
The International Student Friendship Program invites you to join us on a visit to a maple syrup farm (also known as a Sugar Bush) and a Sleigh Ride. Come and see maple syrup being produced and meet with other International Students.
You will begin with a tour when we arrive. Enjoy a meal after that, around 1:00 p.m. And then a sleigh ride after lunch, with a winter campfire and wiener (hotdog) roast.
When: Saturday March 4,
meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Where: meeting in front of University of Ottawa's
Book Store in the University Centre.
Cost : $7.00 includes tour, small pancake meal,
sleigh ride and wiener roast
You need to reserve your spot, because space in cars (to travel to the Sugar Bush) is very limited. Please call 722-6589, and leave a message with your phone number and the number of people coming with you. Your phone number is your reservation number.
Remember to dress for the weather. We will be outside for about 40 minutes to tour the Sugar Bush, so please wear a warm jacket, boots, gloves, hat, etc. (not running shoes ? brrrr!)
