同煤气公司签一个5年的合同[问题]

问一下，这里有没有人同煤气公司签一个5年的合同，可以固定煤气的价格。因为看
起来，煤气价格是在上涨哟。有什么好的建议吗？

我还没签， 真的不知道到底怎么回事。 我目前的煤气公司是ENBRIDGE。今天上门让我签合同的是UNIVERSAL POWER，他说他们公司相当于WHOLE SALE， 而ENBRIDGE从他们公司买GAS， 所以他们比ENBRIDGE便宜。我目前的GAS费是每立方米0。43， 他们OFFER 我每立方米 0。42，五年合同。 并且说如果GAS降价，他们也会跟着降（也许降的幅度不同）；反之，不会跟着涨。听起来很不错， 我只是在想， 这么好的事，为什么上赶着为老百姓服务呢？上个月也有一家公司的人来让我签合同， 给的价是0。45。

这是我们第一次住需要自己付GAS的房子， 不了解情况，希望大家都来谈谈利与弊。你们目前的GAS每立方米多少钱？应不应该签这样的合同？

Enbridge to lower gas prices in April

Warmer than normal weather this past January will mean lower natural gas rates this spring.

Enbridge Gas Distribution says it will apply for a price reduction, effective April 1, lowering retail gas prices about 18 per cent, roughly back to where they were last October.

Enbridge says the mild January temperatures saved the average homeowner about $66 in heating costs, and also lowered the North American price for gas.

"Warmer than expected weather in key Canadian and United States heating regions has resulted in a decline in North American gas prices since the historical highs in fall of 2005," says Lino Luison, vice-president of Enbridge Gas Distribution. "Natural gas market prices respond to supply and demand. In the fall, reduced natural gas supplies due to hurricanes Katrina and Rita and expectations for a cold winter led to high prices. Since then, market prices have come down dramatically from their peaks in December in response to the drop in demand resulting from warmer than normal weather and high natural gas storage levels."

Enbridge serves about 1.8 million Ontario customers. Sixty per cent buy their gas direct from the company, while the rest buy through a marketer.

Enbridge adjusts its prices every three months, in line with North American gas prices.

去年底的煤气价格是0。39，今年是0。42。他们的5年固定价格是0。43。看上去煤气
是在涨价。谁有几年来煤气价格的趋势图，可以贴在这里。

2004年的时候，direct energy上门签5年合同 31cent ,那个时候enbrige
的价格差不多 28-29cent. 那时没签。 真是后悔当时没签。这次direct energy又上门,42.9cent，签了。还没confirm.

没听说签了合同, 价格还会跟着市场下调.小心上当.

I called Enbridge, they confirmed that gas price will be adjusted in April to 0.35 /cube meter approx.

The utility said yesterday it expects the April 1 rate to be "similar" to that in effect last October. It was then charging 35.32 cents per cubic metre, or 18 per cent less than its current 43.1 cent rate.

Enbridge has 1.8 million customers in Toronto, Ottawa, Barrie and Niagara Falls.

Only 60 per cent of Enbridge's customers will feel the impact on April 1. The other 40 per cent have signed contracts with energy marketers, such as Direct Energy, which locks in their price for longer periods.
