My whole family will move to States. Does anyone know where can I find the moving company???

I know, but I want to find some companies that are more reliable...(i.e. Someone has had experience with the moving company before).

Saw quite often big tractor moving trucks in parking lot of those residential high rises within not-too-bad communities. Quite a lot of them are for across-border moving. You might want to drive around in weekends and catch the names of those moving companies and give several calls.

Are you sure you are going to "dump" Canada? People say fewer job opportunites here. Actually I feel Canada has great business potential if you try to start your own small firm and stand on your own feet. Weather? This winter is not that cold...Plus, you can ski...

Are you sure you are going to "dump" Canada? People say fewer job opportunites here. Actually I feel Canada has great business potential if you try to start your own small firm and stand on your own feet. Weather? This winter is not that cold...Plus, you can ski...

Thanks! But still I have no idea about whether the company has good reputation or not if it's not recommended by someone, right?
As for staying or not...well...got no choice. It's a family issue lo.

I used both before and both are very good. They know how to deal with the border crossing. If you are paying for your moving, it is better to find another company that will ship your car (it is cheaper). If the relocation is paid for by somebody else, you do not need to care. Call them and they will have an agent to come and give you an estimate. The estimated price is always higher than the actual payment since they tend to over-estimate. cheers.

I used United van lines last year. it was the cheapest one according to the estimates and I payed exactly the same as estimate, the service is good, arriving and delivering on time, no goods were broaken.
BTW, the only problem was that the company sent two trucks by mistake, unfortunately the later one had to leave, even though I prefered the later one (it had three young men, the early one had two older men, it took whole morning for loading).

I did estimate on line and I got some e-mails and phone calls from different companies. The price depands on the miles, weight, volume, and who do the packing (you or the company).

google moving company, you'll get free quotes from different companies.
