What are the pros and cons of Windows 64bits

I am thinking switching to Win64, so I what is the pros and cons of that system?

pros: better memory management, faster ONLY with 64bits software

I have a pretty crapy computer, A64 3200+, onboard LAN, Sound, ATI9200, should I switch?

not if u play dota with maphack
apparently maphack's memory checks conflict with xp64's controls... makes it lag really bad

I don't play that game ... my motherboard has everything, ATI has the driver, and ... just don't know if it will still work

I do nothing extraordinary, just surfing and word processing and CAD drafting and PRO/E modelling and Starcraft ...

Softwares for x64 are limited. But it is nice to try.
I am running x64 since January. Everything is fine. There is a lot of x64 forum in the internet and some sites list the compatible softwares for x64.
