Since there are no issue date on my Texas driver license, the Ontario transportation office staff ask me to contact with the Texas transportation office to get confirmation letter stating first issue date in Texas.

But I call Texas transportation office so many times, the telephone keep be busy, I can not reach customer representative.

What should do I under this situation?

Thanks!

Get a letter from the Texas authorities or take a road test.

继续打电话啊
或者找有没有fax #,发个传真过去问问呗
再不行,邮政地址总也该能找一个吧

you need to contact the DMV at Texas to issue you a driver's abstract. This document will show all the info they need to change your license. However the officers here can "request" this info by accessing the database in Texas directly without you having to do it yourself, unless your license is expired already, some bad driving record or the state of Texas does not share the info...Anyways, if you still need to get a driver's abstract, you need to make a request in writing and enclose a processing fee with your request. This will normally cost about $20 US and take about a month to have a turn-around. Search the Texas DMV website and I am sure you will find the info, e.g. how much, to where you should write a letter to request. Here in Canada, once you get the driver's abstract, march to the testing center and demand a G license, if you have more than 2 years of driving experience -- do not settle for a G2 even if you do not have 2 years.
