关于考驾照

新到渥太华一周，准备考驾照。
有国内三年驾龄驾照，但未在国内做公证。
（1）是否应该寄回国内作公证，再用国内公证到大使馆做公证？
（2）可否先笔试（需要带驾照吗？），等待国内公证过程中练车，然后等到公证后再约路考？
（3）练车时，如果找教练，是教练带车还是自己的车？
（4)没有驾照，如何买车呢？

No. You need the 公证 at the very begining. Otherwise you are not allowed to take road test in 10 months after the written test, i.e. you are treated as a beginner.

The teacher provides the car. His car has one more brake so that he can control the car in case you can't. He has take all responsibilities whenever he is on board if there is accident.

（4)没有驾照，如何买车呢？
You can buy a car, but you can't buy insurance. Thus you are not legal to drive it home from the dealer. You have to hire somebody to move the car to your home for your. The car has to be parked there until you have license.

对第二点作一下更正：
Yes。你可以先考笔试，拿到G1。然后等公证的时间内练车，拿到大使馆的公证后去做exchange申请，同时约路考。
或者poc说的和我一个意思？

我刚刚换照直接考G，一次通过了。。
对3和4也补充一下吧：

3。找教练的话自己带不带车无所谓，因为价钱都是一样的。钱也不多，没有必要还和教练谈用自己的车能不能便宜一些吧？你可以试试？最好考试用什么车就用谁的车练比较好吧。
区别在于考试的时候用谁的车。如果用教练的车你需要付钱，还需要买保险。如果用自己的车，不用付钱，保险你看着办，考试中心不会过问这个问题，不关心你的车又没有保险？我倒是奇怪，如果考试撞车伤到考官该怎么办呢？

4。没有驾照你可以买车的，买车的时候随便填一个意向的保险公司信息就好，而不需要保险合同。
但是问题严重的是：一旦你的车在没有保险的情况下开过，保险公司知道的话会提高保险的钱的。如果你真这样做了，那也一定要坚持说车买回来后一直放在车库，从来没有动过。。。这是下策。

Nothing can be "换". Everyone has to take tests. Detail as following:
1. Everybody needs to take written test.
2. If your Chinese license is less than one year, you are treaded as a beginner. You have to wait 10 months to take road test after the written test.
3. If your Chinese license is more than 1 year but less than 2 years, you can book G2 (in other words G1 exit) road test right after the written test.
4. If your Chinese license is more than 2 years, you can book G (in other words G2 exit) road test directly right after the written test.

关于你提的问题,

1)这里的大使馆是做的认证而不是公证;可以在国内办好公证后到大使馆去做个认证,3天就可以拿了.
2)完全可以,驾驶证方便就带上吧.
3)还是教练的车吧.
4)别急了买车，等G到手了再买,保险也便宜.
