1st time apply Canada passport

I have a quick Q regarding to 1st time apply Canada Passport. In the application form checklist, it says you need to provide
"Any Canadian passport or travel document issued to me within the last FIVE years".
How about if I don't have any as it's my 1st time to apply for the passport?

Because IF you have old Canadian passport you have to enclose it in your application.

Can you see the word "IF" ??

There's no IF in the original checklist. It says
"Enclose any Canadian passport or travel document issued to you within the last FIVE years".
