The rule about new cars export from US is changed : no matter new cars or used cars being going to export, you must be report to the border 72 hr in advance, including Alexandria Bay border.

If faxed documents are acceptable in a US border, you should ask your dealer fax MCO and invoice of sale to the border in advance. Three days later, you can show them originals when you cross the border. Otherwise, you have to go to border twice for clear.

Refer to the copy from second article above: "拿到了保险，就可以去提车了。注意美国海关要求出口车信息提前72小时发到海关。在buffalo附近，只有Queenston-Lewiston bridge的美国海关办理汽车出口手续。一般大的dealer都是知道这些的。你一定要说清楚车要从美国出口到加拿大。而且出发前你或者dealer一 定要和美国海关confirm资料没有问题。其他地方的美国海关可能不接受fax过去的信息，你只好把原件送过去了。"

Alexandria Bay only accepts orignal document 72 hrs prior to exporting, at least my dealer told me that. Lewiston bridge accepts faxed document 72 hrs before export. Please check with you dealer to make sure everything is OK before you make a trip.
