I was just too busy these two days, have not tried yet.

The modem does have a built in router. It is Thomson ST516 v6.

Once I get this done, I will let you guys know.

Sorry to get back so late. We just came back from a trip. The link below gave me a big help. Now it works. The main thing is modem and rourter's IP address can't be in the same subnet.

This this would make the bad thing worse.

I think mybaby's comments make some sense. Please tell us the modem type. If the modem has a BUILD-IN router, it definitely not work if you add another router with PPPoE.

Suggestion:
1. Check if your modem has a build in router. If yes, then your router need to change to Dynamic (or LAN) mode.

2. Or configure the modem into Bridge mode.

YOUR INTERNAL IP RANGE CANNOT BE SAME SEGMENT AS THE ISP, I.E THE GO OUT IP ADDRESS(192.168.2.1 MASK 255.255.255.255), YOUR INTERNAL IP RANGE SHOULD BE CHANGE TO(10.168.0.0 TO .... MASK 255.255.255.255 ).

They are not compatible

They are not compatible, I have exactly the same router and primus modem, and tried everything, but not working.

Solution: change to another router.

With Bell modem, working perfectly.

P.S. Trendnet router (same model as yours) is good, wireless is never disconnencted.
