Is Chevrolet Malibu good car? What is this tpye of cars' price range

Is Chevrolet Malibu a good type of cars? If I buy from dealer for a new car, how much the price will be for the most basic model?

I am competely a layman of car and car price.

GM's Malibu's 08 model seems to be acceptable, all other previous models have rust and noise problems over time.
